Hotel Tricks

One very good piece of advice is to make full use of the free on-site parking at the hotel. As soon as you have found a spot, forget about your car for the length of your stay. After all, the hotel is so centrally located that you can cover most of the prominent places by foot. For those farther off, such as the Pleasure Beach, it’s quite fun to take a ride in the famous Blackpool trams. This is a time, money, and stress saver par excellence, doing huge things for you with such little effort.

Make the most of your stay by speaking with hosts Malcolm and Mick. Their talkative and very friendly/and very friendly and helpful nature has been the stuff of legend among past guests. They really are full of local knowledge and can give you the tip on a good fish and chip shop, which shows are worth going to, or the best time to visit an attraction to avoid the worst crowds. It’s this little bit of personality that can really change your holiday.

If you want a Blackpool holiday to be extra special, maybe plan it so that you’re in the town when the famous Blackpool Illuminations are on – usually from early September to early January. The hotel’s position is absolutely fine for you to walk out and enjoy an excellent view of the light shows. A neat recommendation would be to board a heritage tram tour along the promenade on a painted service.

Holidays in Blackpool may be associated with such lively attractions, but it’s possible to take a breather in the expansive Stanley Park. A fine, excellent destination to let the kids run around and burn off energy, it’s only a leisurely 25-minute walk or even shorter through a bus from the hotel. Complete with beautiful Italian gardens, boating lake, and an Art Deco café, this stands as a memorable delight away from the rigors of the seafront – regularly standing among the top five parks in the UK.
